Yes. The HOME range includes several Lactose-Free options, created for those looking for greater lightness and digestibility without giving up the pleasure of dairy products. Available specialties include Lactose Free RiCcotta, Lactose Free Spreadable, Lactose Free Mozzarella Balls, Lactose Free Mozzarella Loaf and Lactose Free Burrata.
A lactose free product is made in such a way as to reduce the lactose level until it is almost eliminated (lactose must be present in an amount below 0.1 g per 100 g). It is designed for people who are lactose intolerant or who prefer more digestible products.
Yes, lactose free products maintain a taste and creaminess very similar to traditional versions. In some cases, they may taste slightly sweeter as a result of lactose breakdown.
